Young Eagles

"The Young Eagles program at Chapter 229 will be in place and active in 2008"

So says the new Young Eagles coordinator,  Mike Bauer.  We have not had a active Young Eagles program  in the Chapter for the past few years, but hopefully we'll have some fun with it this year.

All we need is
1)   boys and girls from age 7 to 17.
2) A few pilots with a airworthy airplane that take these kids up for what might be the most exciting and educational event of their young lives.

I don't think we will have any problem finding passengers.

We have permission slips that the parents sign, and which explain the whole "Program".  If we can have 5-6 good interested members to," step up", I promise you will enjoy the experience of flying a kid for his/her very first airplane ride.  The more, the better.

None of us are too old to remember our first airplane ride.  If someone didn't take us up forty or fifty years ago, we wouldn't be where we are today............Anyway,  you know what I'm saying.  Let's do it.  If u have access to either a Cub, or a Twin engine monster, we need to talk.  (P.S.    EAA provides a Liability insurance program that covers all participating members.... )
